Inkemia, world of Inspirit Arena

The Story.

Welcome to Inkemia, a world where the spirits are more than ghosts or mere abstract concepts of the netherworld. The spirits are very real and present among the inhabitants of Inkemia. Infact it was the greater sentient spirits called the Almatheon who created life upon the world of Inkemia.

The Almatheon used the lesser spirits to create Inkemia and gave a part of themselves to give birth to the sentient beings that inhabits it. They created many races including the El-Var, Goblins, the Shaggarts, and of course the humans. In time the inhabitants of Inkemia learned how to harness the power of the lesser spirits, mostly by using the Inspirit Runes. Magical items that can capture the essence of a being or event and recreate it at the will of the wielder.

But the races fought each other and this conflict, which reached its height during the Runewars, brought about the great disaster known only as Armageddon. After Armegeddon mankind was the only sentient race that survived, and the knowledge to create Inspirit Runes are lost.

Now, mankind has rediscovered the Runes, left untouched for millenias ever since Armageddon, and has learned to harness its powers. But they have yet to rediscover the means to recreate it. Runecasters, or those with the ability to use the Inspirit Runes, explores the new world in search of ancient Runes still undiscovered and test themselves against each other in the Inspirit Arenas.

Runecasters of the new world hunts for Runes for many different reasons. Some just want power, some just want to win the prizes of the Arena or the fame that comes with it. But a few hunts the Runes in hopes of gaining knowledge and uncovering the secrets behind its creation. Whatever their motives, they are the ones who will decide the fate of Inkemia. And YOU are one of them.

The Makers

During the Runewar there are six factions who fought. And only they had enough resources to manufacture their own Runes in a large scale and they each had a distinct type of Runes. They are called the Makers

The six Makers are the Demion, the El-Var, the Shaggarts, the Valar, the Goblins of Guerolek, and the Morgoul. Aside from these six Makers, there is also the Guild which stayed neutral during the Runewar.
