Ok, I admit that my first description about the game and the screenshots although look nice but still do not give clear explanation about the game. It seemed that the best way to know this game is to play it.

But I’ll try to explain what it is in a more elaborative way…

INSPIRIT Arena is a Multiplayer 3D strategy turn based online game.

Multiplayer : It is intended to be played by more than 1 player, an opponet is required in this game.
The game it self more or less similar to a chess battle, 2 players minimum.

3D : The game shader engine is producing 3D images that become the main visual representation along the game, except at some screen where the graphic is 2D art. The interface screen for example.

And while we’re on the rune battle set creator – room interface, as told in the background story, we, as the rune hunters must collect runes and use them for battle against another rune hunter(s) in the arena.
The runes are collected from booster packs bought from rune shop, player will get 10 random selected runes from all of the races / affiliations, in the rarity level, most of them are common, some are uncommon, and the rare runes are the hardest to find / collect. In the closed beta version, player can have gold in many ways, weekly or direct request to the GM, in the real version, player must access numbers from vouchers that can be bought via game centres or online ( in development ).

Strategy : or tactical means the player do not use hand and eye coordination to do headshots or have to maneuver ship to avoid hundreds of plasma bullets. instead, player as rune hunters must use strategic thinking and tactical decisions to prevail in this game. You have limited SPIRIT that also your hit point (live) and summoning / activating runes to unlock its powers you have to spend them, so summoning hordes of armies will make your character fragile. And like the chess game, there will be sacrifice move and traps move, your wit and your management skill is put to the test here.

Turn Based : Not simultanously, but the game progress by taking turn between you and your opponent. Yes, games like front mission, heroes of might and magic, and final fantasy tactics are best example of turn based games. In this type of game, the player are given the illusion of more tactical and more pleasure at making traps and eliminating armies you enemy had ( or once had ).

Online: Yes, you can challenge your cousin at Bali while you at Jakarta.

But some general and easy descriptions can call this Inspirit Arena a combination of Magic the Gathering trading card game and heroes of might and magic with a pinch of World of Warcraft look and feel. But please don’t too excited at spreading this game with this in mind.
